After the resounding success of Last years competition Cork BJJ are pleased to announce that The Munster Open BJJ competition will be returning again.

I had my 100th competitive match on Saturday. Counting BJJ, Submission Wrestling and MMA, I’m now sitting at 102 matches. And I’m pretty chuffed about that.

Check out all the exciting matches from a great open-weight advanced division, held at Dublin City University.

It was another very well-run event by Mr Gus Oliviera. Held in the Shoreline Leisure Centre in Greystones, Dublin, the tournament ran very smoothly and saw some excellent no-gi grappling take place – however as is becoming more and more noticable in Irish grappling tournaments, the higher ranked divisions were almost empty, with only 5 competitors in the entire elite (+5 years) division.
