After the resounding success of Last years competition Cork BJJ are pleased to announce that The Munster Open BJJ competition will be returning again.

It was another very well-run event by Mr Gus Oliviera. Held in the Shoreline Leisure Centre in Greystones, Dublin, the tournament ran very smoothly and saw some excellent no-gi grappling take place – however as is becoming more and more noticable in Irish grappling tournaments, the higher ranked divisions were almost empty, with only 5 competitors in the entire elite (+5 years) division.

Congratulations to Cian Conlon, winner of the BJJ.ie Most Technical Grappler Award at the recent Northern Ireland BJJ Open. Check out his great matches below.

The Irish Open 2010 will be held on Saturday,  October 23rd in St. Andrews College, Booterstown.
